Rules + Manners
At Fetch, Play + Sip, we separate rules from manners. Both are important. Breaking a rule can compromise safety, and ignoring good manners can disrupt the experience for others. In either case, behavior that creates an unsafe or unwelcoming environment may lead to dismissal.

Rules
-
Vaccinations: All dogs must be current on required vaccines.
-
Registration: Dogs need an active profile on file before entering.
-
Leash Guidelines: Dogs must be on a leash when entering, exiting, or in the lobby. Off-leash is allowed only in designated play areas. Retractable leashes are not permitted.
-
Age & Health: Puppies under 6 months and dogs in heat are not allowed for safety reasons.
-
Supervision: Owners must stay in the facility and watch their dogs at all times.

Pawrent Etiquette
Positive Pawrents Behaviors
-
Actively supervise your dog at all times
-
Step in if play gets too rough or uncomfortable
-
Clean up after your pup promptly
-
Treat other owners and their dogs with respect
-
Recognize your dog’s limits and give them breaks when needed
-
Limit screen time and give your furry friend your full attention
We believe great dog parks start with great dog owners. Keeping an eye on your pup and stepping in when needed helps create a safe, happy space for everyone to enjoy.
Behaviors to Avoid
-
Treat the park like a dog-sitting service - you must stay engaged with your pup, not just watch from the taproom
-
Allow unsafe or rough play to continue unchecked
-
Ignore signs of stress, fear, or fatigue in your dog
-
Let dogs roam without a leash outside of designated off-leash areas
-
Forget to clean up after your dog
-
Overindulge at the bar and focus more on drinks than your dog
Manners
-
Share the Space: No guarding water, toys, or people.
-
Play Fair: Encourage breaks and gentle play - avoid overwhelming other dogs.
-
Respect Boundaries: Not every dog wants to be best friends; help your pup read cues.
-
Mind the Noise: Some barking is normal, but constant barking should be managed.
-
Stay Alert: Keep phones down and eyes on your dog. Socialize with other owners too!
-
Kindness Counts: Treat staff, fellow owners, and dogs with patience and respect.
-
No humping: Our goal is to keep a positive play environment. We give up to three chances, but continued behavior shows the dog is becoming hyper-focused instead of playing appropriately.
-
Four Paws on the Floor: Please don’t let dogs jump on people or furniture.
Is Your Dog a Good Fit for Fetch?
To help determine if your dog is a good fit for Fetch, take a look at the characteristics listed below and consider which side your pup falls on. If most of their behaviors align with the behavior we encourage, we’d love to welcome them to the Fetch pack! If more of their behaviors fall into the not-tolerated category, that doesn’t necessarily mean they can’t visit.
Pup Behavior We Encourage
-
Friendly, playful interactions with other dogs
-
Balanced, respectful play where both dogs are enjoying themselves
-
Reliable recall - your pup responds when called
-
Calm, polite greetings with both dogs and people
-
Comfortably sharing toys and space with others
We hope your pup meets all or most of these behaviors! If so, we would love to have you schedule a Meet + Greet!
Ruff Behavior We Don’t Allow
-
Aggressive behavior toward dogs or people
-
Persistent barking that disrupts the play environment
-
Guarding water, toys, or personal space
-
Mounting or overly rough play with other dogs
-
Not responding to their owner or recall cues
Dogs that display these behaviors may not thrive in our environment, since our current group of pups is well-matched in play style and temperament. We’re always open to a Meet + Greet to assess, with safety as our top priority.
