Pawtrol Officer
Overview:
At Fetch, our Pawtrol Officers are the heart of keeping our indoor dog park a safe and fun environment. They are responsible for monitoring dog behavior, stepping in when needed to prevent interactions from escalating, and ensuring that every pup (and person!) has a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor dogs in play areas and recognize early signs of stress, overexcitement, or aggression.

Intervene calmly and effectively to prevent situations from escalating.

Enforce facility rules and safety guidelines for both dogs and their owners.

Provide excellent customer service by answering owner questions and assisting with dog introductions.

Maintain a clean and safe play environment.

Collaborate with team members to support special events, daycare, and boarding services.

Flexibility to work in different areas of the facility as needed—this could include the front desk checking in guests, the recreation area monitoring dogs, or the boarding area caring for overnight visitors.
Training & Support:
All Pawtrol Officers will receive hands-on, continuous training in dog behavior and body language. This training ensures confidence in identifying different play styles, spotting potential issues early, and managing group dynamics safely and positively.
Qualifications:

Previous experience with dogs (personal or professional) is a plus, but not required—training is provided!

Lead Pawtrol Officer
Overview:
The Lead Pawtrol Officer plays a key role in maintaining the safety, fun, and smooth daily operations of Fetch. In addition to monitoring dog behavior and supporting our Pawtrol team, this position takes on leadership responsibilities—overseeing staff during shifts, ensuring rules are consistently followed, and making minor operational decisions when the owner is absent. This is a growth position designed to prepare the right candidate for a future managerial role.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor dog behavior and ensure safe play, stepping in when necessary to prevent escalating interactions.

Oversee daily operations and provide guidance to Pawtrol Officers during shifts.

Enforce safety rules and facility guidelines with both staff and guests.

Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.

Learn and manage Fetch’s operational software to handle scheduling, customer accounts, and check-ins.

Make minor decisions in the absence of the owner to ensure smooth facility operations.

Support staff in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Provide outstanding customer service by addressing owner questions, resolving minor concerns, and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Training & Support:

Comprehensive and continuous training in dog behavior and group play management.

Software management training to handle reservations, memberships, and day-to-day operations.

Leadership development to prepare for advancement into a managerial role.
Qualifications:

Proven ability to work independently and as a team leader.

Previous experience working with dogs (professional or personal) strongly preferred.

Taproom Host
Overview:
Fetch is not your typical bar—it’s a place where great drinks, good company, and happy dogs come together. Our Bartenders keep the self-serve tap system running smoothly, assist guests with snack purchases, and ensure the lobby stays clean and welcoming. Since our guests include both people and pups, this role also includes training on basic dog behavior to help maintain a safe and fun environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the self-serve tap system and assist guests if issues arise.

Process snack and beverage purchases through a handheld POS system.

Keep the lobby, taproom, and snack area neat, clean, and organized at all times.

Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service.

Support Pawtrol Officers by staying aware of dog behavior and helping maintain a safe environment.

Assist with restocking grab-and-go snacks and beverages as needed.
Training & Support:

Hands-on training with the self-serve tap system and POS handheld device.
-
Dog behavior training to ensure confidence in working around pups.

Ongoing support from the management team to grow customer service and operational skills.
Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable personality.

Comfort using technology (POS systems, tablets, etc.).

Ability to multitask in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and organization.

Must have or be willing to obtain Bartending License prior to employment.

Previous bar, restaurant, or retail experience a plus, but not required—training provided!
